Product Design and UX
Role-based experiences for four audiences—contractors, homeowners, builders and businesses—designed so a technician on a roof and an office manager at a desk can both work quickly.

BlueClerk is a field service management platform for residential contractors in the US. It brings jobs, estimates, invoices, scheduling and the whole crew into one system, and permanently ties every job to the property address so each home builds up a complete service history. MMC Global partnered with BlueClerk to design, build and scale the platform across web, iOS and Android.

BlueClerk began as a mobile tool for field technicians to scan tags, record work and produce service reports. It has grown into a full operating system for residential contracting businesses, with separate experiences for contractors, homeowners, builders and property-owning businesses. The roadmap focused on one idea: every job should live with the property, not just the contractor's records.

Contractors were paying per-seat fees and juggling several apps for jobs, quotes, invoices and scheduling. Their customer and job history also had to survive a move from platforms such as Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and FieldEdge.
At the same time, service records were scattered between contractors, homeowners were flooded with calls after posting a job, and builders lacked a clear way to track warranty work across entire subdivisions.

MMC Global delivered end-to-end product engineering for BlueClerk, from product design through web and mobile development, integrations and post-launch improvement.
